sharing database with windows version

Hi Alex,

I have been using the ios verison in conjuction with the windows version for a few months as it works well for me.
I had been transferring the datatbase backwards and forwards with no issues at all.
Now I cannot open the database in the windows version anymore,i am guessing it is since the upgrade of the ios version.

I keep geting this error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Re: sharing database with windows version

Hi,

I will try to track down this problem, but we are going to drop support for the windows app at some point this is for a number of reasons, firstly the amount of people actually using the windows app now is very small and does not justify the cost keeping all the relevent development licences up to date and it is doubling the development efforts.

For me now just to get onto the windows development machine is a 3-4 hour process, because I don't have the physical hardware anymore it is all done in a virtual environment, so I hope to get a chance to look at this in a couple of days, as I don't have 3 hours spare until Sunday, sorry it sounds like an excuse but the windows app is free and keeping a computer just to cover that one app cannot be justified anymore.

Feel free to post enhancement requests for the apps, always looking for new ideas.

All the best
Alex
